Vantli Privacy Policy

Vantli ("we," "us," "our") provides a task and project management application (the "App" and, together with our website, the "Service") built around a structured approach to capturing, organizing, and reviewing your tasks and commitments. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account information. When you create a Vantli account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. We use this information to authenticate you and to identify your data within the Service.

Content you create. Vantli stores the tasks, projects, contexts, notes, due dates, and any files or photos you choose to attach to a task or captured item. This content is yours; we store it so the Service can function and so it syncs across your devices.

Connected accounts (optional). If you choose to connect a Gmail or Outlook account for email-based capture, we access only the data necessary to import messages you select into your Vantli inbox. We do not read, store, or share the contents of your broader mailbox beyond what you explicitly bring into Vantli.

Device and usage information. Like most apps, our servers automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, device type, and app version) for security and troubleshooting purposes.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Authenticate your account and keep your data secure
• Sync your tasks and projects across devices
• Respond to support requests
• Diagnose and fix technical problems

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your task or project content for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except as described below.

Data sharing

We share information only with:

• Service providers who host our infrastructure (such as our cloud hosting and database providers) and who are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
• Legal authorities when required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vantli, our users, or others.

Data retention

We retain your account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes.

Your choices

You can access, edit, or delete your task and project content at any time within the app. You may disconnect a linked Gmail or Outlook account at any time from Settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the information below.

Children's privacy

Vantli is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email.
